How can I get better at singing without voice lessons?

Whats a good way to get a good singing voice without taking lessons?

    the ***** above me is wrong, you know how many singers never took lessons? a bunch, metallica, pink floyd, patrick stump, etc..... and they all are good, lesson are useless

Sorry to beark the bad news, but singing is a talent you are born with, or not. Taking lessons can set you above and stretch your capabilities by teaching you proper breath control and expanding your abilities. However, if you don't have the nice tone that you are born with, you can't do much. I would suggest taking lessons if you can. Just 3 or 4 lessons will teach you the basics to know if this is something you should really pursue or not.
