    You asked for my opinion, and my answer is: Nothing. I cannot believe it even exists. Next is blackboard scratching, then dinner plate scratching (with utensils), then the next generation will find that lame. Let me tell you though, it is talent! T-A-L-E-N-T. Nothing compares to the DJ scratch. I love that sound going down my spine...chills baby. Makes Spoonman and Crystal-spinning look like frauds of actual music...know what I mean? I can't believe people like you. Kenny G is a genius, and I can't stand his music. DJ's (wow, what a term) take other's music and scratch it on a turntable...WOW. How much longer do I have to put up with this pathetic BS???

I don't know really, but I love scratches, they sound so ill, especially on hooks with a vocal, LOVE IT >=D. Q2: Rakim, KRS-One, or Nas? I don't think Run DMC is THAT influential, they are some what, but there's definitely rappers that are more.
