What's the best way to find people with similar tastes to follow on Spotify?

• I've been on Spotify for a few months. I joined primarily to listen to music, but discovering new music has become a very, very close second in terms of priorities. I've found a few people to follow by seeing who's following the same playlists as me, but it's a slow, painful and unsocial (e.g. no messages) process. And to make matters worse, I'm not on Facebook or any social networks. Edit: I've discovered http://Moosify.com, which promises to "find your soundmate! moosify is a social network where you meet people with a passion for music. Chat, date and listen to the sound of SoundMates near you." But the only way to use it is with Facebook account and I don't have one or want one. Plus I'm more interested in discovering new music via finding people to follow, rather than finding people via music.
