Does anyone know where I can find flute sheet music for free?

    Here you go - http://www.load.cd/sheetmusic/instrumentation/20_flute/ You can get a lot of music sheets in pdf format for free there. A tip - use the filter on the right to browse for contemporary music. And you can use other criteria there as well - like genre, level of difficulty, etc. Good luck!

Yes and hello... Go to www.flutegirl.ca and look at the download box..click it and select the freebies. A cheap membership on that site will get much more but that is up to you. Also for classical/romance and baroque period see the 'IMSLP" Petrucci Library site. Free public domain downloads and you can check various scores and pick the parts you want--quite often the oboe and clarinet and some trumpet and violin parts are better than the flute bits--depends on the piece and what instrument is carrying most of the meoldy. Also go to the "Lester S. Levy Collection" at John Hopkins University for free public domain sheet music downloads. Many ballads and voice parts etc are very conducive to flute play.
