I love soul music, its the basis of what modern music derives its roots from. Aretha, Al green, Marvin Gaye, they are all legends and can never be replaced. Im 23 and most of my friends enjoy the soul classics. Although its not their first choice in music, they all know the words and the songs when they play on the radio in my car.

yes!! i love oldie but goodies!! and im 24..just grew up listening to that kind of music so it stuck with me...no music today can compare with the "old" stuff

I'm 19, so a bit younger than you, but I love soul music and the oldies. It's what my dad had playing when I was growing up. The Beatles will forever be my all time favorite band. I know they're not soul, but I like all oldies stuff. And Aretha is amazing!
