I think your best best is the Ken Burns DVD collection. Hopefully, you can find it at a local library. Here is the NPR website for jazz profiles, but I am not sure how many are actual interviews: http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=15185958 Here are some interviews from the BBC Jazz website.
