What's some good exciting jazz music?

  • I like Jazz music but whenever I browse for some I just find really sleepy slow tunes. Are there any good fast paced, more exciting jazz songs you can recommend?

    All bebop toons will be fast-paced like that, as well as most big band tunes. Louis Armstrong had a lot of upbeat stuff, Wynton Marsalis has some very good fast paced music, so does charlie parker, john coltrane, tommy emmanuel, and pat metheny.
