I wouldn't do that. yes, he's able to hit low notes on trumpet because he's good on trombone, but typically if one is to transition between two brass instruments that require different embouchures, your embouchure on the main instrument gets messed up. however if you're playing baritone horn or trombone, that's obviously a good idea
