Many widespread demographics prognoses tell that the concept of Israel (as a secular European-style nation state) will completely fail soon - what current young generation of Israelis plans to do with it?
-
I mean prognoses concerning prevalence of Arab population and ultra religious Israeli population in the period from several years up to several tens years starting from now. In other words the situation that the generation who is currently 20-30 years old will deal very soon.

This is a weasel question. "Many widespread demographics prognoses"? Can you actually cite a prognosis that you read? Does "European-style" necessarily mean "non-Arab"? Does "Orthodox" necessarily negate "nation state"? That said - yes, some politicians say things in this style and claim that that is the reason to vote for them. Maybe they are even right. Nobody really knows. To your actual question: I cannot speak for other Israelis. I can only speak for myself. What am I going to do with it? Not much. I am going to live my life here just as I do now, work, have children, make sure they get good education, teach them the worldview in which I believe, vote for politicians that represent me. Anybody who will tell you anything else is lying or imagining. Some people say that most secular Israelis plan to emigrate. It's an empty threat, which is not backed by any research. If you have data that says that opposite, I'd like to learn it.

If religion will be enforced on the secular population we might just suffere it or resist or maybe just migrate a lot of israelies, 1 million, have already migrated from Israel we call this !stepping down' or 'heading downhill' choose your pick. Any how they did this just because of better job opportunities, Israel's very epensive to live in; and higher education advancement or just disagreement with the political and security issues . If this will come to the fundemtal aspect of freedom from religion then especially some will emigrate , many Israeli Jews have more than one passport, the unlucky ones will have to stay here an suffere. It's not an empty threat just a precaution. The previous commenter ignores a lot of limitation that will be posed on Us: not driving on Saturday; not being able to buy and eat pork; rabbi control; dressing rules. Segregation between men and women; prohibiting laws . Be made to wear a yamanca (head dress) not allowing sex before marriage . Anti gay laws. Enforced worship. Denying scientific theories like how the world was created or evolution. Brainwash. Etc... The end of democracy as we know it in Israel .

Like Amir - I can speak only for myself. Having toyed with the idea of emigration and being a son of an immigrant, I faltered and stayed. Being the age I am (47 in 2014), I will probably stay on. That being said - there are a number of demographic CLAIMS (not studies, or at least I have not seen the said studies) that state or imply that Israel will change in demographic nature in the reasonably foreseeable future (20-40 years). That may be worrying, but the changes that are taking place currently, as we speak and breathe in these days of 2014, that future is almost irrelevant. I say this with a profound sense of regret and failure - my generation has failed to build a modern, democratic, enlightened and tolerant state. What we have built is a racist, xenophobic, militant and whingeing state. I quiver with shame and embarrassment when I read the paper or watch TV or hear the news or see some of my fellow countrymen and women. So - I will live and die here. What I did instruct and command my daughter to do, and that with bitterness and fear and shame and regret and pain - is to make her future elsewhere, away from Israel. We have failed.
