How can i improve and strengthen my voice for singing?

    you need to practise hard, spend an hour each day singing tape your voice and pick up on your mistakes so you improve, learn to hold your notes on ballads for as long as you can and think of what you are singing, the success of a good vocalist is to believe the words you are singing you have to feel them and put emotion into your voice practise in front of a mirror open your mouth as wide as you can and let the notes flow take a breath at the beginning of each line and exhale slowly so you can sing each line without gulping for air

this may seem strange but they work. sing with head underwater this improves tone, breath and strength of vocal chords

Well....I know for a fact the answer to this question because I had a singing teacher....You could do scales and lay on the floor and put a paper on your stomach and breath in and out....if you get out of breath when you sing just....kinda push on your stomach litely and it will give you more air....Hope this helps....
