How do you use Roman candles?

Does anybody know what i can use to hold roman candles while i stand and watch from a distance?

    i shoot mine off at a park and there are trash cns there so i open the trash can lid (the kind that you push to open) and those always keep it steady

As long as it has support for the sides and doesn't fall over, you can stick it in the dirt. Not too tight, not too loose. Do not tie up and allow the bottom to swing, bad for your neighbors. Do not pinch the tube, bad for anything nearby. Do not puncture the bottom, bad for visuals, it won't take off.

A 2-liter bottle cut to fit and the base supported by rocks so it doesn't tip over from the power of the roman candle going off. We used to use glass bottles, which are harder to find I think.

Just stick them in the ground, Line up 8 or 80 of them in a row, and use a propane torch to light them, It Is, SPECTACULAR!!! I have never seen this fail.

Try using two bricks to hold it in place.

roman candles aren't that dangerous, just hold them with your hand. i have used tons of them and never gotten hurt.
