I noticed my son's eye color changing when he was a toddler. If he was with me most of the day, his eyes would turn green (like mine). If he was with his father most of the day, they would be blue, like his. He is 23 now, and it still occurs. The color changes with what he wears, also. I bet lots of people wish their eye color would change to match their clothing! I think it's cool!

I know people who's eyes change color all the time. It's just the way their eyes are. And the reason why they were blue when she was a baby, was because sometimes babies are born with a certain color, and then it changes.

My Ex's step daughter who is 35 now has eyes like that. They are always gray when she gets up, and will stay like that on a cloudy day, until evening, then they are a beautiful green On bright beautiful days, even inside, her eyes will go from the gray to a bright blue , for most of the day , then again green after dark. I have known at least 2 or 3 other people like that also. It isn't all that common, but isn't rare enough to be in the Ripley's book.

It is obviously genetic. There is nothing to fix or change. It's unusual for the color to change within a given day. You might think color correlates with wardrobe color but it might be ambient light, sugar levels, mood or other factors. I think you should post a video on YouTube. There may 1000s of other genetically gifted people. Many digital cameras have a super-closeup setting. You might want to make a series of photos to document the situation. Keep in mind that the color might stabilize or the color-change might diminish with age. It would be a good idea for your child to wear sun glasses in a bright environment.

My dads eyes were blue when he was a baby and now there hazel. I don't know why and neither does he.
They may continue to change. Children's eyes change up until they are about 5 years old and then they will become more of just one color. Sometimes eye colors do change with mood, clothing, or even the weather but it will get more subtle as she gets older.
