When is the independence day of Bangladesh?

When India and Pakistan celebrate Independence day, are we actually celebrating?

    I appreciate Ahsan Javed's drawing. He has reciprocated my feeling. The division of India into 2 countries which became 3 later in the form of Bangla Desh is not good and detrimental to the long term interests of the people of this part of Asia. The proverb "United we stand, divided we fall" is appropriate. Mr. Advani had once suggested merging of these 3 countries into one and renaming as United States of India with greater autonomy to the states. I am not a supporter of Mr. Advani or BJP, but I liked this idea. If Berlin Wall can break, why not the division of India. I also feel the need to change the name India internationally. Divided India should be named Bharat and if India, Pakistan and Bagla Desh unite into one country, it can be named United States of Religious Amity.

Of course the scars of division are there, but freedom from rules of Union Jack is also a reality, in which either of us, at least breath free. Now it is up to us to smooth our relationship and establish a value based positive attitude and out look for celebrating I-Day in true sense. And Yes, both India and Pakistan are in a mood to actully celebrate I-day.
