    i made flyers on my comp. and put my name and number that people could pull off and put them up at stores and restaurants flyer boards it worked for me

Well you might want to start with using word of mouth,ask people you know if they know anyone who might need a babysitter. Give them your info or make a business card off of Microsoft publications with all your info on there or you can put fliers in neighbors mailboxes. remember not to overbook. :D

Hang in Laundromats, libraries, and post office. Make yourself some business cards and give a magnet to go on the fridge when you get hired and have a call back. Ask your local school office in case some parents inquire for sitters.

try criagslist .... also ask around at church, your parents friends, or ask ur parents to ask around at work if anyone needs a reliable sitter. good luck
