First Day at Work After 5 months. I'm Nervous, How do you adjust and cope to a new Job?

Don't worry soon you will be like everyone else in the working world stuck in a boring dead end job with pricks for management.

I am a thirty seven year old woman who after working for one company for 10 years went and changed jobs. The ten year job was factory work, the new job (for a new experience) working for a hospital emergency room! I is hard, much like not working then going to work, new people, differet atmosphere yatta yatta... BE YOURSELF! You have been chosen for that job for a reason by the person interviewing you. Try it if it freaks you out stay a week...hey wait until (if they have hiring from the inside) you go to change positions due to better pay or status, that is just as frustrating but in the end it is worth it.

Well if it is you're first day at a new job you should not start off by surfing the web and asking questions. Instead you should be getting to know your job and the people you work with. I came to a new job about 4 months ago where I would be doing a lot after almost a year break but got along with the rest of the staff rather well. Give it some time. You'll do great.
