  • Answer:

depends on the position, the number of applicants and the cut off date. i applied online and received a letter confirming that my application had been accepted three days after the deadline, had an interview a week and a half after that, and was informed that i had the job four working days later by post.

Tell you the truth, you know you are qualify but sometimes if you qualify to much that means that your are to expensive for the company to add on. So it like chess sometimes you have to play stupid to get in and if you do that more an likely you will get the job.

Normally, it would take no more then a month if the company really is interested in talking to you about your qualifications. If it has been more then a month, then I say give them a call. Most companies are having a hiring freeze because of the economy. Don't feel bad. Networking is the best way to find a job in this tough economy.
