The vocational field of Law is saturated. If you want to be employed, invest in a different field. Certification won't get you a hill of beans in today's competitive economy. I agree - the legal profession is saturated with attorney, paralegals, legal assistants, etc. There are just not enough positions to go around with every university, college, jr, college, community college, and questionable schools putting out paralegals right and left. And with the way technology is changing (like voice recognition software replacing the need for someone to type for you), choosing the legal field isn't a sure fire way to get a great job with great money anymore. Take another look at the health careers, in particular, information technologies. With the whole medical profession heading toward getting medical records automated, someone has to plug in the information. Yep, that's the field I would look at - Information Technology for the Health Sciences.

Possibly as a receptionist... A certification as a paralegal assistant would go a long way in allowing you to actively work in a law firm, otherwise.
