What's the average salary for an Entry-Level Paralegal?
-
I'm about to earn my Associates in Paralegal Studies and was wondering what the pay rate is like?
-
Answer:
I'm surprised you didn't look into this BEFORE you started down this vocational path. Most law firms want employees with Bachelors degrees. Warning! Jobs in the field of Law are drying up FAST!!! We simply have WAY TOO MANY lawyers - we have a GLUT of attorneys. Because there aren't enough jobs, many attorneys are working as legal secretaries, paralegals, legal assistants, etc. - this is going to be your competition. There just aren't any jobs in the field of Law right now. Suggestion: Look into the field of Healthcare! LOTS of jobs there! and scholarships! even with your background! Good luck.
