  Law schools accept all majors. What type of law do you want to practice? You may want to major in something that relates to the type of law you want to practice. I majored in English, and I suppose it was helpful because all of the law school exams are essay format (with occassional multiple choice sections). To find out everything you need to know about the process of becoming a lawyer, go to the LSAC website: http://www.lsac.org/ It has everything you need to know. Most people are negative towards the process because it is somewhat long and weeds alot of people out along the way. But if it something you want to do, then go for it. Don't listen to nay sayers who say you won't make money, etc. That is not true. A law school education is the best investment you could make. And don't waorry about the money. You just get loans and pay them off. And if you do get a lower-paying job for like a non-profit org or something, they pay your loans off for you. Check out the Public Interest Law Foundation. If you want to start off at 150,000 per year, you can work in a law firm. If thats not your priority just do public interest work and you still make decent money. Just do your research. Go to some county websites and the DOJ and Attorney General websites and look up jobs or human resources. Most people who bash the legal profession are those who weren't accepted into it and were weeded out of the process when they took the LSAT. So anywho, get your bachelors degree, take the LSAT, get a couple letters of recommmendation and write a personal statement.
