  • Answer:

actually your probationary period Is your notice. it is written notification when you're hired that during the next 90 days you may be terminated at any time for no reason whatsoever. It is any valuation. In reality they can still fire you after several years and need not give you a reason or notice.

Other answers

Yes. Probationary means a term in which they watch what and how you do things to make sure you are right for the job. Perfectly legal. Crappy though, just be thankful for your training pay!

Clarity

Sure they can. And if you're in the US, they could fire you without notice AFTER the probationary period, too.

this is legal with most companies, if the contract has a probationary period and you did not fit the criteria, then they can discharge you . they do and sometimes do not have to give you a valid reason and it could be something as little as your personality or the way you dress, or the way you interact with other clients or employees. many other jobs can fire you for no reason even if you have been working for that company for 20 years. if the job you were on has a union and you joined the union after the probationary period, it would be hard for them to fire you.
