What jobs can I get with an associates degree in office administration?

    It really depends on the company to which yo uapply. You can become an Administrative Assistant, Office Manager, HR Administrative, or anything in that field. If you have a specialized area you studied such as AR/AP, then that can lead you into those areas as well. Pay really determines on your location and experience. While one place may pay $18 an hour, the same job may only get $10 in other areas. I would say check with the career services at the college you attended (you are still allowed to get help as a graduate). Mine is in CAD technology (drafting) from a tech school. During the first 5 years after getting my degree I worked for 2 architects and 1 cast stone manufacturing company. Currently I'm an Admin. Assistant/IT/programmer. I didn't get this degree by choice. If I did what I wanted to do I would have attended a regular university majoring in graphic design. That didn't happen because I couldn't get financial aid.

I have my Associates in Business Admin. concentration in Health care admin. and I recommend going for your Bachelors degree and higher. The jobs I am finding are Accounting jobs, customer service, Office manager (only if you have experience in many of these areas &/or a Bachelor degree) Many positions are entry level. You can find different concentrations to focus on too. (E.g. Finance, Health care, Management/ HR etc)
