    The best website is none. Honestly, the job you are looking for is pretty much the exact job most advertised in scams - many to get your details and whatnot. Even on legitimate job search websites, there will still be fake ads. Some are easy to spot - fake company, excessive use of capitals and exclamation marks, extremely vague job description with emphasis on how much money you'll make or how much experience you don't need - but some are harder, especially when it's advertised through a recruiter. Your best chances are to search your local area - check the Yellow Pages, newspapers, do a walk/drive around the business district, even Google the kinds of businesses you'd be happy to do admin for - then canvass them. Do some research on the company, write your resume and covering letter, put on your nice clothes then either visit the company or ring them. Be prepared if they ask you to do some training before/during your employment. MS Office is okay, but they also like people who can use databases etc. Good luck!

Have you tried the temporary agency? They can place you in jobs to test the waters and get hired permanently eventually. Have you tried the gov career center for those looking for jobs---there may be jobs posted for receptionist jobs.

Try looking for a local job site, ie. where I live there is a great job site http://accessdubuquejobs.com also the 'admin/office jobs' section on your local craigslist may be a good place to look, from time to time there are some "get rich quick" things but for the most part its pretty legit

Elections agency is a good place to find one or promote idea that members of media should run for election since liberals like Naomi Wolfe express concern u.s. government strips away constitutional rights. anyway she might give you one making films and writing books just like conservative side makes writing them on scary jihad types.
