What year does Charles Dickenson's A Christmas Carol take Place?

Charles Dickenson, never heard of the bloke. I did hear of Charles Dickens though. Do they teach anything in school?

I have never heard of Charles Dickenson. "A Christmas Carol" was written by Charles DICKENS.

I know it was set in the Victorian period in london, so that would put it somewhere in the mid 1800's. it was published in december 1843, and several parts of the story reflected life in london at that time, (especially the parts regarding the poor, and several other locations that scroodge visited with the ghost of christmas present). i don't think the story itself ever gives an exact year, so that 's the best i can tell you. I'll post again if i find any other evidence.

The author's name is Dickens. You might be confusing him with the American poet Emily Dickenson. Dickens was a Victorian author and Christmas Carol is full of references to his own period. So I'd say it is sometime in the mid to late 1800s.

It was written in 1843! I just read it for English class...it was kind of cute I guess.
