How to get a job at Tim Hortons?

Is Tim Hortons a good first job?

  • Answer:

The minimum age to work at Tim Hortons is 15 (legally), but many employers prefer to hire 16+ year olds. Storefront isn't hard, per say. The tasks themselves are easy and repetitive. The hardest thing to deal with are the rude customers. You'll get those, and as long as you can handle it, you'll be fine. So yeah, the job itself isn't difficult, it's just the people you might have to deal with that are. I know a 15 year old that works there and she's a complete idiot. So if she can do it, I'm certain that you'll be fine! EDIT: Also, if you end up working at the Drive-Thru, that could be harder, because of the added stress of being timed.
