  • im a graduate..with experience in banking but iwish to change my line n become a chef..how do i become one?

Get a job in a restaurant. After a few years, if you love it and want to continue, go to school. If you have no experience in the industry, school is really a waste of time and money. The real live experience you bring to school with you is the base on which you will build your new career and if you have to spend all your time learning the basics you will miss out on so much! Hey, wells it depends what field you want to be in such as culinary or pastry. If you want to be a serious chef and go through the whole process instead of learning the basics skill, you should try culinary of America (this school requires you to have experience and take academic classes and good SAT score and a 4 year college) you could also try johnson and wales, or the french institute of culinary arts (6months or 9months depending on full time or part). you should also try researching some schools near your area.

well obviously you need to get some kind of degree or diploma in hotel management or something related to that than you could gain entry into chef's profession

Look out for good hotel management institue...... get a degree....... look out 4 a good job in a good hotel...... n after some exprience u can become a chef.......... but remember to cook good n delicious food...... tat's wat people love...... a good food
