What is the starting salary for a Nurse,Midwife and Paramedic in the UK?
-
Looking to start university next year and confuse as to what I want to do
-
Answer:
You don't need to go to uni to be a paramedic as there is a short course you can do for that but in general a midwife is slightly higher paid than a nurse and paramedic but you will have a 3 year degree to complete before you will be qualified and the pay scale could have changed by then but at the moment it is around 15k. You have to apply this year for a uni placement next year and here in Scotland it is impossible to do a midwifery degree unless you have A grades in all exams as we only had 10 placements this year
