  • Answer:

A blazer and a suit are two different things. If you have a suit that fits well, wear it. If it's too big, too small, or bad looking, then just go with a shirt and tie. Make sure your shirt fits your neck. If it's a sport coat (blazer), then be careful about this. They can send a weird image, like that you are dressed up in Dad's clothes. You can never be overdressed (within reason) for a job interview. All things being equal, if one person is wearing scrubs and the other is wearing a nicely fitted suit, I give the job to the suit person. They took the interview more seriously and took the time to get dressed. I do recommend that you forget the advice to "dress one level above". You ALWAYS want to look the most professional you can for any job that's outside of full retail/restaurant. Good luck on your interview! Scribes are an up and coming field!!
