How hard is it to get your RN Associates?

I want to get my Associates degree in RN but..?

  • I want to be an RN to be a Labor & Delivery nurse..but i REALLY suck at math...how math will I need to know ?

  • Answer:

Do NOT let sucking at math discourage you from getting your RN degree. There is a little math that you will have to do (college algebra, maybe another course) and it is not bad if you get a good professor (ratemyprofessor.com will help you there, lol). To be honest, math is the last thing you should be worried about, biology, A+P, and chemistry are the courses that are the challenge, and if you're confident with those, you're going to be absolutely fine. Once you get into a nursing program, there are formulas that they will teach you, but it's not like any in-depth math course. Don't even think twice about it.
