    Did you try a study group? sometimes in certain subjects it would help, I found that even if I was the one asking everyone else the questions I would retain alot. and it didnt feel like I was hard core studing. I also read that if you have a hard time being focused on the material your studing..that you should put a bright colored constuction paper behind your book or notes so it draws your attention towards what your studing. My friend taped alot of classes and just listened to the tapes in the car and her grades improved just by doing that. And the best thing that worked for me and I am pretty sure someone already said it ..is to stop after every paragraph to think about what you just read.

you have a routine of being simply lazy...like me.. But just try to change that routine and set a time for studying...only studying! maybe staying afterschool in the library for an extra hour will motivate you because your at school..
