Try medical assistant or phlebotomy. If you have a college degree you can do an accelerated RN program, which is a year. There are a few colleges in my area that offer this program, not sure how many schools nationwide offer it. Nursing is rewarding and pays well but can be stressful.

I am a LPN (licensed practical nurse). The training for LPN takes a year and the pay can be very good depending upon where you work. The job can be stressful or not, again depending upon where you work. I thoroughly love my job at an assisted living facility. Based on what you posted, I think you should look into a LPN program. Good luck!

Medical Assistant sounds like something you might be interested in. They make good money. You can choose a specialty to work in that fits your personality ie. pediatrics, dermatology, family practice, surgery... This is a one year program that gives you responsibility but can be low stress (depending on your field).

There are tons of jobs in the medical industry. I wasn't sure if you meant a 1-year program? If you already have a BS or a bachelors, in 1 year you can earn a certificate in medical technology, cytotechnology, etc. You won't be working with people, but it's a decent job for only doing 1 year of school. You could get an associates in ultrasound or radiology. That's only 2 years of school, you get to work with people, and the pay is pretty good (50k+). If you're willing to get a masters, you could be a nurse or physicians assistant. There is also physical therapy. All of those careers pay well and involve people.
