    OT is the best!!!! It is such a wonderful field, and so many areas of interest and specialty. Love kids, work in a neonatal unit with premies, or work in the school system... Like the gereatric population there are nursing homes and hospice, homehealth, etc. Like the inbetween or variety, hospitals, mental health, outpatient facilities... Plus you could take the path and find facilities which specialize in burns, spinal cord injuries, trauatic brain injuries... ect The options are limitless, and there is a high demand for OTs and with the baby boomers, the demand is rapidly increasing!!!! Go for it!!! Its rewarding, challenging, fun, and interesting (and the pay is great)

I am an OT now. For the past 3 years since I graduated, there has not been a week go by that some company has called my home asking if I will work for them. This is one of the few careers left out there where you can still be picky where you want to work, esp in this economy. Things are good enough that I even opened my own private practice this past month!

well you will definatley get a job here in europe as there are adverts everywhere looking for occupational therapists but as for money its generally a civil service job so you would get the same as most government employees
