  • Answer:

After becoming a Certified Nurse Assistant, you will need to work on becoming a registered nurse. You will eventually need a bachelor of science in nursing, but some people find it easier to get an associates degree in nursing from a community college and than go on after they start working and take night classes for BSN degree. See here for a better description of these http://www.become-a-nurse-now.com/nurse-education.html After you get your BSN, becoming a nurse practitioner is a master program through a university. http://www.become-a-nurse-now.com/Masters-in-Nursing.html There are some places that will reimburse you for your tuition after school, or even pay for your school as you go as long as you plan to work in a certain hospital or even state for a few years after graduation. Check with your local schools for more details about what is available in your area.
