  • Answer:

The entire haul to becoming a RN is difficult/time consuming. I took my prereqs first as the nursing school I attended required most of them be completed before being admitted into the nursing program. The CNA program was a part of the nursing program. It was the 1st step toward becoming a RN. We were then able to become a LVN/LPN, then onward to the RN. My background was first as a medical assistant, then full office practice management. My choice would be a Medical Asst. before being a CNA. Better hours, pays as well, allows nights at home.

No I would not, the mental perception could be disturbed. What you want is a nursing program that would pay you the same amount money to just stay in school. You'll grants, take loans if need be and enjoy yourself. Why would you want to work when you can go to school and enjoy.
