well, i started out at a nursing home working as a nurses aide. that gave me medical knowledge and i eventually moved into the office field at the nursing home. i now have enough experience that i can pretty much work at any medical office. hope this helps.

i'm a secretary at a hospital and i almost got a job at a dr's office you have to have med term and a&p to get a job like that and it doesn't hurt to have some type of pharmacology course you will need a little knowledge of medications i took a medical assisting course which was a year long course and that's what got me in here
