Is computer support a good career choice?

Is computer engineering or computer science a good choice for my future career?

• If I want to take the above mentioned stream what should I be good at ? Computer obviously and what else....if maths is also necessary which chapter or topics of maths?

  Best thing to do is get the requirements for each major from different schools too, and compare them. See what makes sense to you. If one is truly full of math courses and you are more into programming then that will tell you what the degree is really about. Also, look at open jobs and see what their requirements are. Make a survey of this. Create a table and put in the job title and company name, with the degree requirements. Doing this exercise will give you a snapshot of what is going on currently in the job market. Then talk to the professors asking what their graduates do with each of those degrees. See which of those interest you. Also, ask to speak to graduates of those degrees who have jobs working in the field and ask them about their job and tell them how you are trying to decide which to major in. I hope this is helpful!
