Both are at their best in their own places and both have Drawback also If u opt for Software engg, you would have to mainly deal with the New Software making and have to continously Check for the new software that have arrived in market..... If u want to do private earning after Engg its too difficult bt if u get in to any IT company u would get a good pay as well as Reputation Where as in Computer science you have to deal with the Hardware along with the software... and after Engg if u want to start your own private business starting in small scale, you can do it too
