How do you do a background check that is absolutely free?

Is there an absolutely FREE criminal history check or background check, and what is the web address? ?

    Each state and county has their own database. It should be free, but I wouldn't be surprised if some require a small payment.

No service like that will be free. There are huge databases to update for that information. It takes money to do that. There is a very reliable, inexpensive site I know of : http://adamevesearch.com

I don't think so. My state charges about 10 bucks. You need it for certain types of jobs.

The easiest way without paying is usually to just call your state police department and ask them to mail you a copy of it.
