What kind of government jobs are there?

What kind of Government jobs are avilable to those who have at least a M.S. in Psychology?

I would just like to know some general info regarding Govt. jobs available to those who are disciplined in any applicable branch of Psychology. A list of sources would be nice. ...show more

Don't know where you are from but the issue in CA is licensure not education. If you have an M.S. and are eligible to apply as a state registered intern, there are many opportunities through the state mental health system, county mental health system, dept. of corrections, school districts and various state funded non-profit organizations. You will probably work with challenging cases in children's systems. For example, there are always needs for people who are willing to work with gang members, children with severe mental illness and behavioral problems. Another big population is geriatrics. There are a lot of people who get into working with at risk elderly people. State hospitals usually need people due to the high turnover rate.
