  Have you written anything lately that you can send to them which is 2-4 pages in length? What industry is this marketing job in? You can write a paper of your research in that industry. Dont send them a book report. They wont even bother reading it. You can also do a search online for 'writing samples'. The sites will give you ideas what to write on. Just dont put yourself at risk by plagarizing someone else's work.
