  First of all I assume you are in America. If so, look up the local chapter of Landscape Architects or something similar. In the association you will find literature about the landscaping business to include prospecting and selling landscaping. If you can't find an association of landscapers, find land developers associations. Just attend the meetings if nothing else. You will find out first hand what the industry facing, how it answers the call, and what the future will bring. P.S. I would be suspicious of anyone who would answer your ten questions based on a knock on the door. You might have been able to do that a half century ago. But not today. Good luck!
