What is a mathematician?

What are the uses of a being a mathematician in a career choice?

  • If you're a mathematician, what can you do with it? What kind of money do you make?

  • Answer:

You're career field is pretty wide-open with it.. I have a friend that got his masters in mathematics and he is now working for ABF as an analyst. He is at the low end of the pay scale and makes 100K+, this is a 26 year old guy making great money in a city with a low cost of living (Fort Smith, AR). So, if you are interested in mathematics then hit it and I'm sure when you are in your senior year there will be no shortage of employers recruiting you at the first career fair. Good luck
