How does tuition assistance work?

How many hours do you have to work at Bestbuy to be considered full time? Tuition assistance??

  Unfortunately, there is no federal definition of what "full-time" means. Each employer sets its own definitions. Most times however, full-time is considered to be at least 37.5 hours per week. The most common definition is 40 hours per week. Some companies consider full-time to be around 35 hours per week. If you're planning on working at Best Buy full time in order to get the tuition benefit, I would prepare to work the full 40. That way, if you have to work less, it won't be a big surprise.
