  • Answer:

There are a lot of nursing homes that would provide similar training. It's a good way to start your career if you are planning to work in a medical field. Depending on the location and education requirements it takes about 4-6 weeks. Not all of the Nursing homes offer employment after the studies, but I believe most of them do. In most instances where they offer employment after training classes are free, at some instances you have to sign agreement to work for the place for a certain period of time. My relative and some of my friends went through similar training to obtain their CNA license. They started from classroom studies and then moved to practical hands on training. Both theoretical and practical knowledge are tested for CNA certification. All the classes were full day classes, and practical training generally started early in the morning. I would highly recommend you to take a similar class because according to my friends' opinion it’s a good way to start.
