I don't touch them with a bargepole! I just hit Spam. Stay away from them. Scams. No one ever lets you make money. All would be rich if it were true.

I do agree that some of these ads are a sham, however there are the legal ones out there too. The ads are designed to build curiosity in the person reading the ad, just like it did with you. You will never know what these ads have to offer unless you try for more information.
