How does someone become a secret shopper or a mystery shopper.?

Do not pay to register with any mystery shopper site. Legitimate companies do not charge you to apply. Do a search for "mystery shopping company" and you will come up with lots of legitimate mystery shopping companies. Apply to many, because you will not get steady work from one company. Most shoppers work for several different companies. I've looked into a few, but have yet to find one that is "real". A real job doesn't charge you an initial fee. Good luck! I do sampling events for Mass Connections. It's internet based and they have auditors who go store to store making sure event personnel do their job properly, maybe you could get into something like that, they are based in CA, but have staff all over the country.
