Doing MBA . which way to go. HR, finance or marketing?

If you are looking for a career, take the one that you will enjoy the most. It is easier to succeed when you are enjoying what your doing

hr, marketing and finance are all different kinds of jobs. i would recommend you find a job or internship to figure it out, rather than waste your education only to figure out that you really wanted to do something else.

I work in a proprietary trading shop. We trade equity index futures and options for our own account. I have NEVER come across any one in HR who was worth a damn. They don't realize they are a support function that doesn't generate any revenue for the business. If you're really 'mathy' and like the subject then think about finance. Both marketing and finance are worthwhile, simply depends on your interests, talents and skills.

Depends on your true interests. If you are not particularly interested in a subject, no amount of will to pursue money is going to get you anywhere. HR is good but you don't necessarily need an MBA to do well in that area. Marketing and finance are complicated and difficult and require a lot of dedication and brains for good analysis.

which ever your best at. Dont look at the salary figure because then youll get side tracked. If your really good in any field then you can make bank as long as your good in that field. So find something your interested in and go for it cause you dont want to be stuck in a field thats not an interest to you even though it will pay 10 or 20 thousand more.

HR is a good career.
