Both will hurt :) Wasps are designed to sting and survive, then sting again. Bees only get one chance to sting you, then they die. For most people, getting stung by a bee or a wasp will hurt a bit, but will not cause any problems. Some people are allergic to bee and wasp stings, which can cause a serious reaction called anaphylaxis. You're right, normal skin is slightly acidic (pH 4-6.5), but I think both would hurt equally because it's the damage to the skin and the swelling which would cause the most pain I think. It also depends how your body reacts to the sting.
