Law & Order: SVU, Is Olivia Benson off the show?

  • Hi all, I don't religiously watch Law & Order SVU, but I think I've seen a few recent episodes where Detective Olivia Benson is absent from the show. Is she still on the ...show more

  • Answer:

Hey....she was off the show for a few episodes, because she had a baby. But she is back now. They have just been playing reruns because of the writers strike.

That was last season. She took some time off in real life to have her very cute baby boy. They did a story line that she was working with the FBI and brought in a replacement partner for Elliot. She's back now and better than ever.
