Fell off my bike, scraped my knee pretty badly?

I am a guy who fell off my bike and some of the skin on my face got scraped off?

  • theres like a dime-sized piece of skin that scraped off . Can I dab some makeup over it until it heals so that it isnt easily seen ? I dont really wanna walk around with a bandaid

    No don't even put make up on it because it could possibly get infected and a band aid will only make the wound heal slower and possibly make more skin come off because of the puss that might come out. Trust me this happened to me before. The best and fastest thing to heal this is spray some neosporin on it and just let it be. No band aid or make up it will heal faster.

Just wash it with soap and water and put a little antibiotic ointment on it. No makeup or anything else. Don't put a band-aid on it, leave it open to the air, just don't touch it. It will heal faster without the band-aid.

I would highly recommend not to use makeup on it. You should be keeping the area clean so it doesn't become infected. Make sure all of the gravel, sand, dirt or whatever is out of the cut. You don't want it becoming infected and then head to the doctor or hospital and have them scrub it. Not fun. Besides, if anyone asks what happened just tell them. It's not embarrassing to me. Tell them you were practicing a new trick on your bike. A lot of chicks dig stuff like that. lol.

i would put on some anti bacterial lotion, sorry it looks wack, but if it gets infected it will look worse, and forever if it scars perminantly. You will certainly have scars on your face regardless, depending on how deep the wounds are. Definitely put one some neosporin or other pain reliving/anti bacterial creme on it before you worry how pretty it looks.
