What is the best university to earn a degree in 2D/3D animation?

  • I live in Quebec and therefore have to pass through cegep (pre-uni) after I graduate secondary school, but I have only found two universities in the province that have this specific program available, and neither are particularly renowned (UQAT & UQAC). I'm wondering what university would be the best for me?

    Do you speak French? Are you under 25? Can you draw well? Then apply to Gobelins in Paris. It is the best in the world. Supifocom in southern France is also the best for 3D. CalArts has the best connections if you hope to work at Disney/Dreamworks/Pixar, but it is very expensive. If you'd rather stay local though, there's nothing wrong with that. It's not the school but what you make of it after all
